What is Microworkers?
Microworkers is an innovative, International online platform that connects Employers and Workers from around the world. Our unique approach guarantees Employers that a task paid is a task successfully done, while Workers that successfully complete a job get paid.

The tasks assigned to Workers and paid for by Employers are simple and quick, mostly completed in a few minutes, thus they are called "microjobs”. These tasks include data mining, data categorization, data tagging, data labeling, data matching, sentiment analysis, event sequencing, transcription, content comparison, content evaluation, surveys, research studies, application testing and so much more.

Joining Microworkers is free, and as an International site, anyone from any country can be a member.

Who are the Employers?
Anyone can be an Employer. If you own an online business, a blog, a video channel or simply need referrals for your favorite programs, Microworkers is definitely the place to come and have your small tasks assigned to tens of thousands of active Workers who are always ready to complete your job.

Whether you need traffic for your website, comments or a fresh post for your blog, bookmarks or Likes for a video you want to be popular, or testing and review for your new application, hiring Workers from our program ensures you affordable, quick and top quality results.

Who are the Workers?
Anyone can also be a Worker. You can be a stay-at-home mom, a student who needs extra spending money, or if you simply love helping others while making some extra cash alongside, this is the place for you. Joining Microworkers as a Worker does not mean you are employed by the site. Instead, you will be working as a freelancer. With that, you can work as much or as little as you want. At the same time, your potential for earning is also limitless since you can accept all the jobs you believe you are capable of completing, and get paid for them.

Can I be a Worker and Employer at the same time?
Absolutely, signing up to Microworkers allows you take "microjobs". At the same time, when you have projects (campaigns) you wish to run, you can use the same account to do so. You simply have to click on the Start a Campaign option, and post your job. What's more, you can use your earnings as a Worker to fund your campaign as an Employer.

I am a Worker...
Can I have more than one account?
No. There is no need to maintain more than one account and it is against Microworkers' Guidelines. If you've lost your login information, you can request to have it sent to your Email address. If you are caught having more than one account, your account(s) will be terminated, your IP address(es) will be banned, your payments will be forfeited and you can no longer participate in Microworkers' program in the future.

How do I earn money?
If you wish to look for "microjobs", click on the Tasks link and browse through the hundreds of listed tasks. Each task will display a set of instructions, the time to complete it and the amount you will earn for finishing the job. If you believe you can finish the task, click on "I accept this job" to accept this job, and the page will display a form where you can enter the proof required by the Employer. Otherwise, click on "Not interested in this job" if you do not wish to perform the job.

What is a Success Rate and why do I need to maintain it?
The Microworkers Success Rate ensures Employers that they get quality results from the campaigns they are running. This feature prevents workers from posting spam or fake proofs, and low-quality output of the tasks they perform.

Poorly performed tasks will give you a negative rating and will pull your Success Rate down. To maintain a high Success Rate, make sure to only accept tasks you are capable of completing.

The Temporary Success Rate is the Rating you can find below your Success Rate. It calculates your working ability including Satisfied vs Not-Satisfied tasks + Not-Rated tasks in a period of last 60 days. Please ensure that your Temporary Success Rate is always above 75% to be able to continue performing jobs. Please refer to this page for your Temporary Success Rate along with relevant information on how such can affect your ability to perform tasks.

What is Reputation?
The number of stars in each category reflects your Reputation. The greater the number of your Satisfied tasks, the more stars will be assigned to you (1-5). Workers with most stars will be included in the "Best Workers" group. More information can be read here.

Hire Group Jobs
Hire Group jobs are tasks given to chosen Workers of Employers. Employers might include you in their Hire Group campaigns by referring to your Reputation. The higher reputation you have in a certain category, the better your chances are in getting hired. You will be able to see available Hire Group tasks in the HG jobs tab from the top menu as well as in the Jobs tab having an icon.

Why are there few available tasks for me?
Availability of jobs will depend on the zone where the Employers chose to run their campaigns. You may continue doing tasks, however, you will only be able to view campaigns that are permitted on your current location and Hire Group campaigns that includes your Worker ID in a specified group.

I have been misrated by my Employer. What should I do?
If you believe you have been misrated for a job that is properly completed, let us know and we will look into the issue. Just open the task details page and click on the "Create a Complain" link. After reviewing your claims, we will credit your account with the amount due to you. Otherwise, if the Employer gave you a negative rating for an appropriate reason, you will not be credited. Microworkers will maintain a fair approach in dealing with work disputes and will be looking after to what is best for both Employers and Workers.

I am asked to revise a task, how to do this?
Simply click the red revise button and update your revised proof as explained by the Employer then submit. You are given 48 hours to revise the task. If after 48 hours a task is not revised, it will be automatically set to NOK rating.

Where can I view the jobs I have completed?
Once the Worker submits a proof, the job will appear in the list of Finished Tasks. Tasks not yet rated by Campaign owners (Employers) are listed under "Submitted Tasks". Tasks that have been rated can be viewed under the "Rated Tasks" tab. A comment is available for each task describing if it was rated with "satisfied" or "not satisfied".

Where can I view my earnings and account activity?
If you want to view your account transactions, click on the Account tab from the top menu. The page will display your personal information and account details. To view your earnings, click on the “All Transactions” link under the Transactions section (lower left). To view your deposits, click on the “Transactions (Deposits)” link. To view your withdrawal history, click on the Withdraw link from the top menu. All withdrawals with the corresponding Date, Withdrawal method, Status and Amount will be listed in the page.

Your account's current balance is displayed on the top section of your page.

How and when do I get paid?
You need to earn at least $9 + fees (Skrill/ Dwolla - 6.50%, PayPal - 7.50%, Local Funds Transfer via Transpay - 3.00% + $1.00 for Non-USD transfer/$3.00 for USD transfer) to be able to place a withdrawal request. For Payoneer, you need to earn at least $20 + 5.00% fee. Once you reach the minimum amount of withdrawal, click on the Withdraw tab from the top menu, and then click on the ‘Place a New Withdrawal Request’ link. You can choose a withdrawal method: Paypal, Skrill (Moneybookers) or Local Funds Transfer via Transpay and Payoneer, as well as the amount you only wish to withdraw. For US citizens, a withdrawal via Dwolla is also possible.

More payment options will be available in the future. Announcements will be made once they are implemented. All payments are made in USD.

Payments to Workers are sent twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. Requested withdrawal amount using Bank Transfer via Transpay may be credited to your local bank within 3-5 banking days.

Please visit this blog for more information on Withdrawals, Fees and PINs. You may also visit this blog on how to request for a withdrawal using Bank Transfer via Transpay method.

What is a Microworkers PIN?
Withdrawals require a PIN in order to be activated. Your PIN is mailed to your home/mailing address after placing first withdrawal request. This is an automated process. The reason why PIN is mailed to one’s mailing address is to ensure that all Workers are verified, thus, preventing multiple accounts. Once the PIN is mailed, such status will be displayed in your account and a link will appear on your page where you may enter your PIN once it is received.

After such is completed, your withdrawals will be activated.

***Note that the PIN process is only performed for the first withdrawal request and will no longer be repeated once your withdrawals are activated.

PIN delivery can take between 1-4 weeks, depending on your mailing service and location.

Please ensure you have entered your correct mailing address. An option to request a new PIN is displayed in your page if such is not received. A $2 fee will be deducted from your account balance if you opt to request a new PIN.

For succeeding withdrawals, a withdrawal PIN to one’s email is sent in order to complete the withdraw request.

It's been 4 weeks but I still haven't received the PIN, what to do next?
You may choose to allow more time of waiting for the PIN to be received or request for a new PIN. An option to request a new PIN is displayed in your page if such is not received.

You may also opt to choose Dwolla or Bank Transfer via Transpay option on your first withdrawal so you will no longer be asked for a PIN verification.

Can a PIN be waived?
PIN requirement is waived when you choose Dwolla, Local Funds Transfer via Transpay or Payoneer for withdrawal. This means you will no longer be asked for a PIN verification in order to begin receiving your money.

Please visit this blog for more information on Waiver of PIN.

I want to withdraw using Transpay, is it available in my country?
Unfortunately, not all countries are eligible for Transpay withdrawal. Please visit this blog to see the list of countries served by Transpay.

I can't fill some fields in the Transpay withdrawal form such as Payment Mode, Currency and Bank details, why?
When placing TransPay withdrawal request, please ensure to input your information sequentially from top to bottom (city, state, country etc.). This way, the system will acknowledge your payment request, releasing all the required fields for you to fill in.

Can I use my earnings to run my own campaign?
Certainly, simply click on Campaigns from the top menu then select between Basic or Hire Group campaigns. Then click on the Create a new Campaign option to post your job. However, an initial deposit of $10 is required before you can start your first campaign.

To make a deposit, please access this page and choose from any of the available deposit options.

I am an Employer...
How do I start my Campaign?
Go to your Campaigns page, click on the Create a new Campaign option, and post your job. To describe your campaign, put in an appropriate Title, select a Category, and give a list of instructions for the Workers to follow and the proof you require to ensure the job is completed. You can choose to run your campaign to US Workers or International Workers.

Then put in the number of minutes a Worker must need to finish the job and the number of positions you are willing to pay for. The page automatically displays the total cost of your campaign for you to make adjustments, if necessary.

All campaigns submitted are reviewed for approval before displayed to the Workers. Be sure to include all details about the campaign with clear and easy-to-understand steps.

Basic Campaign VS Hiregroup Campaigns
"Hire Group" Campaigns are different than "Basic" Campaigns. When you run a "Basic" Campaign, you may choose to target any of the available Campaign Zones. You have the option to include or exclude countries from the selected zone. You cannot choose Workers from the selected countries; every available Worker from the chosen countries will be able to accept your job. This type of Campaign is suitable for easy tasks such as Voting, Searching, Liking a Facebook page, etc.

"Hire Group" Campaigns allow you to assign jobs only to Workers of your choice. You can create Groups of Workers and assign tasks to that particular Group. If you want more Workers to perform your required task, you can simply add more to the Group even while your campaign is active. You can search for good Workers, sort by different criteria and hire only Best Workers.

When your campaign requires unique information to be displayed to each Worker, you have the option to upload a CSV file (spreadsheet) to assign different task/variable to every Worker. Please refer to the following page for guidelines on uploading a CSV file: https://microworkers.com/csv.php

"Hire Group" campaigns are recommended for more advanced jobs such as: Tagging Images, Checking Websites, Writing Articles, Writing Reviews, Posting to Forums, Creating Blog Posts with Backlinks, etc.

Note that the cost per task under Hiregroup section is the same with Basic.

My campaign is Pending Review and I wish to Cancel it
Should you want to Cancel a campaign before it is activated in the system, simply click on the Cancel link in your individual campaigns page. Funds locked for the campaign will then be credited back to your account.

What is a Campaign Speed?
The "Speed" box is where you can indicate how fast you want your campaign to run. This is one of the best features of Microworkers. You can set your Speed between 1 to 1000 (1 being the slowest and 1000 as the fastest), which you can modify anytime during your campaign. This feature gives you more control over your campaigns and the results you expect.

As an additional feature to allow better control of your campaigns, Microworkers implemented a Pause and Resume option.

How do I fund my campaign?
Click on the "Deposit" link from the top menu. You can fund your campaign using any of these available payment processors:

Automated Deposit:

  • Credit Card

Money will be available in your account immediately after you confirm the transaction.

Manual Deposit:

  • Skrill (Moneybookers)

  • Dwolla (only for US citizens)

Please include your Microworkers ID when sending payment. After you have sent the money, send open a Support ticket with subject "Money Deposit" so we can process it immediately.

There is no deposit fee.

If you would like to deposit large amount of money, please contact us.

I wish to add more positions to my currently running Campaign
No problem. Microworkers has a wonderful feature that allows Employers to add more positions to their campaign even while it is on progress. That will save you a lot of time and trouble of having to begin another campaign and wait for it to be approved.

Simply access your campaigns page, choose the campaign you want to add positions to, type in the number of positions you wish to add, and click on the Add positions link.

What is TTR (Time-to-Rate)?
TTR is number of days set by the Employer to allow him to rate tasks. Basic tasks should be set around 1-7 days since the Workers submissions may already be verified within the period. Should you wish to set your TTR beyond seven days, please provide a valid reason for such.

What is Maximum Position Per Worker?
Under Hire Group section, you can assign more than a single or unlimited positions to Workers. Setting value to zero (0) allows each Worker unlimited positions.

I want to Include/Exclude some countries to my active campaign, is this possible?
Absolutely, simply utilize "Retarget" feature (available on individual campaign page) and correct your campaign zone. Retargeting is possible once in 24 hours and can be utilized whether to pending, running or stopped campaign.
More about Retarget feature can be read here.

Why is my campaign paused by the system?
This means that all positions in your campaign have been used up. Please rate the submitted tasks in order for your campaign to resume or end. Note that you will only be paying for tasks you approve. This means that when you disapprove a task, a new position will open for another Worker to complete, and your campaign will resume until the new position is utilized.

How do I know if the CSV file for my campaign is properly created?
CSV file should be simple. It should consist only of:

TITLE row (these will be variables you will use in job description)
VALUES (rows that follow)
Your CSV file should be compliant with UTF-8 standard. Please read this blog for more information.

I want tasks in my CSV file displayed randomly to Workers but collect results in order, is this possible?
Yes, you can choose whether to prefer tasks to be displayed randomly or same order as in your CSV file and collect organized results.
More information about this feature can be read in this post.

How do I Rate my Workers?
Microworkers has implemented a system that allows checking and rating campaigns more manageable for you.

Go to your campaigns page and choose the campaign you wish to review. Click on the Tasks tab and a list of all submitted proofs will be displayed in a single page. You do not have to individually open each task to check the proof.

With the Select All box, approving several tasks can be done with just a single click. However, should you prefer to approve each task one by one, you can always do so.

A "Satisfied" rating automatically transfers the fund you have set aside to each individual Worker's account. You would only be paying for tasks you rate "Satisfied".

Should you find a submitted proof unacceptable, please click on the task ID. A box will open. Enter your reason for declining the task and click Submit

Alternatively, you may enter a message on the same box instructing the Worker how to correct his task.

Once the correction has been completed by the Worker, you may reverse your 'Not Satisfied Rating' for the Worker to 'Satisfied' by using our 'Reverse a Task' feature.

No tasks should remain open for a long period of time. If you forget to rate your Workers' tasks, they will automatically be closed by the system and will be rated "Satisfied" after the Time-to-rate period.

I do not have time to Verify the tasks submitted to me.
Microworkers’ VCODE verification process allows you to verify proof and rate users as soon as they complete the task. This feature can be used if your websiteprovide users with a payment code for verification.

You can learn more about VCODE feature here on our blog at:

https://www.microworkers.com/blog/vcode-verification/

Please find details about Vcode implementation here:

https://microworkers.com/vcode.php

Please note the Vcode formats are different for Basic and HG campaigns.

Can I test the VCode before running my campaign?
Yes, we have a live testing page for you to test the VCode integration you are working on. Please visit this blog for more information.

How do I reverse a Task Rating?
In cases where a Worker has corrected a previously wrong submission or if you believe you have mistakenly given a Not Satisfied rating to a deserving Worker, you may reverse your task rating using our Reverse feature.

This feature is only available under Basic Campaigns and only for reversing 'Not Satisfied" tasks to "Satisfied'. To do this, click the blue 'Reverse' link on the right part of your Basic campaigns page.

Only 200 tasks can be processed at a time. Simply enter the Task ID of the Task you wish to reverse ratings (one per line, or separated by space or commas), add an Optional message on the extra box below, then click on the 'Reverse tasks' button.

I want to give Workers a chance to correct their submission, is this possible?
Absolutely, you can ask for revision of tasks from Workers. Upon rating, choose the option to "Allow worker to revise task" and enter your comment/explanation in the box on how the worker can correct his/her proof.

Learn more about revision of tasks in the following pages:

Revision of tasks under standard platform

Revision of tasks under TTV

I want to leave a feedback after rating tasks, is this allowed?
Certainly, you can leave your feedback/comment in the Comment box upon rating should you desire. You can also opt to leave Advanced Rating to Workers.

You can learn more about Advanced Rating in this page.

I want workers from a specific country and city, how do I search for them?
Visit our Microworker’s pool and search Workers by country, city, newest workers, random workers, just worked, workers with most stars. Read this post for more information.

Can my previous campaign be copied and edited for my future submission?
Definitely, with our “Clone and Edit” feature, you can now just copy your project and edit title and necessary steps. How to do it? Know about it here.

What is a TTV Campaign?
When your campaign requires complex tasks such as Content Moderation, Data Mining/Extraction, Transcription, Translation, etc., TTV (Template Test & Verification) is the best option to run your campaigns.

Please visit this blog to know more about TTV.

I don't know how to create a Template for my campaign, what shall I do?
We have default templates to choose from. Simply click "My Templates" page and update them to fit your campaign requirements. This can be done by using the Clone/Edit template option.

I want multiple Workers to perform the same task, can this be applied to my campaign?
Yes, submit your campaign under Hire Group section and specify the number of unique workers you wish to perform in the same task. More information can be read in this blog.

I want to award workers with a bonus for a good job, is it allowed?
Definitely! You may award Workers a bonus between 10% and 200% of the task value. The default bonus is set at the task value. We implemented the individual bonus, and also mass rate bonus where you can pay bonus to all selected workers with one click.

Please visit the following posts on how to award bonus to workers:

What happens if I decide to stop my campaign?
Should you want to end your campaign even before all available positions has run out, simply click on the Stop link in your campaigns page. When that happens, funds for the unused positions will be credited back to your account.

I can't find my campaign/s.
You may check your campaigns Archives folder if in case you might have accidentally moved some of your campaigns there. Simply go to your campaigns page (Basic or HG) and open the Archives folder. Open the individual campaign page. Under the speed option, information on your campaign folder is displayed. If it shows Archive, you may click on ‘To default folder’ in order to move it back to the current folder.

However, when campaigns are already finished after a year, campaigns will be removed/deleted from archives folder and will no longer be visible for you. Such campaigns can no longer be submitted for restart.
