Four Bangladeshi peacekeepers killed in bomb blast in Mali

Four members of the Bangladesh Army were killed in a bomb blast in UN peacekeeping mission in Mali. More than three people were also injured in this. Reports say their condition is serious.
The deceased were identified as Warrant Officer Abul Kalam, Lance Corporal Aktar, Soldier Raihan and Zaman. They are from Pirojpur, Pabna, Mymensingh and Chapainawabganj district of Bangladesh respectively.
UN mission officials said that the casualties occurred when a bomb exploded on the side of the road during a peacekeeping patrol in the Boni city of Mupoti area on Wednesday.
The country's extremist militant is believed to be involved in the attack. A day earlier, at least six members of the Mali army were killed in similar incident.
