Your Self-Image and the Things You Do When No One is Watching...

When we appear in society, we have many different faces.
The face you wear in front of your boss is different than the one you wear when you are out with your special other.
Our self-image is a portrait that is constantly changing and evolving in the light of our character development and the things that happen to us in life.
What is the relevance of this self-image when it comes to doing things that contribute to your daily productivity and mindset?
Our solitude is a comfort zone unlike any other. It is the ultimate place of sanctuary, where even the darkest parts of our inner self can find light and shine.
The thoughts that we are afraid of having, or the things that we are afraid of doing, or things that society deems wrong and brings much shame can easily be performed or accomplished in the space of our solitude.
This gives way to a dangerous thought pattern that can bring you down in the long run.
But I have found a solution for that which can turn your own solitude into a weapon of your productivity and positive mindset.
It is simple: if you want to be productive, try to preserve your self-image and do the things that you would do if you knew that other people were watching.
Let me elaborate more on this argument.
Consider a person whose opinion matters to you. A person who should always see you as someone responsible and considerate, and someone determined or serious.
It could be a family member or a mentor.
Now imagine that when you are in your lonely space, that person is watching you.
Obviously, you will not do a lot of things that you would do in their presence.
Whenever you imagine someone who is expecting great things from you, the incentive and motivation in your mind suddenly rises to the roof.
That is why you should imagine them when you are alone.
Because if we are being reasonable, when we are alone, we shouldn’t do things that we wouldn’t do if other people were present and could stand judgement to our deed or thought.
A lot of people get distracted when they are alone. That is why this is a good technique to boost their productivity.
Always imagine yourself in the presence of those greater than you, and you will see that it is easy to do the things that get you closer to your ideal self.

I have been working very hard on this blog since the beginning. I have a very busy life but I am giving my best and believe me I have shared experiences that I have been coaching thousands of people and I know that the change of the Mindset should be daily. I am already grateful to see you giving upvotes to each other and you can see this with the fact that many already have 8, 9, 10 upvotes. But I'm sure that with the effort of all of us we will see a community with, more and more upvotes each others and for that everyone should get engaged so we can make it come true. I believe and we can! Resteem...
In the end you will see that I ask you all to sign up for a youtube channel that I created this specific channel to talk about steem and for projects that I am working on steem that soon I will release a video about that channel. It's important that you sign up for the channel and talk to your friends at steem so they can sign up as well.

The masks are for protection. Someone needs to wear them when they have fear, tremendous amount of fear. Getting rid of fear in life is the key to removing the masks.

hi, interesting post, it sums up some discussion I had with myself some time ago, now I'm totally productive, and having a pure passion like music helps a lot as well; makes me think about that movie I saw, "Hollowman", to sum it up it was about some scientist passionate with biology, a particular scene of the movie stayed in my mind, whenever he was distracted and looking towards the ceiling, there was a note up there, it was written: "you should be working"; and it's a real catalyst for productivity; for me it's simple: I clearly want to reach my music industry goals as fast as possible, so I have no excuse for distraction, as simple as that, when you have big goals and potential, you can't let yourself down like that :D
I believe that beyond our imagination, we're always watched even if we're alone.
If we think that we're alone and nobody is watching, this is really dangerous obviously,
If you fake out in front of other people you can never go a long way, somewhere or the other you will be exposed in your true nature. We all have flaws so it's ok to let your flaws come out in front of others.
Sometimes we need to wear different hats which may be situational but that does not change the basic character which is the most important in maintaining one's integrity.

I really liked this post, I am interested in the different gazes people have with different people. I am a bit of a people watcher and see what your are talking about all the time.. I covered a lot of this in University, where we looked at semiotics. Anyhow I have just started my steemit account, and would appreciate any help in getting started. I put my first post up today.
