RE: Understanding the Human Nature as a Means for Influence...
While it is often true that we teach better by example, as a teacher and a parent I can tell you that our advices are not always followed or even noticed, even when they come with practice and examples.
There are many variables involved in someone not following or listening to the voice of experience. From simple blind stubborness to low self-esteem or shame.
That does not change the fundamental principle, though. It is better when our ethos allows us to show-don't-tell.
I've seen countless times parents trying to demand order or discipline from their children when they are uncapable of even being on time for a parents-teacher conference.
In any case, it is ultimately up to each individual to listen to an advice and make significant changes in their life. Sometimes people end up listening to the "least authorized" voice. WHo cares, as long as they listen and change.
Dear @hlezama
I always enjoy reading such a mature comments.
Keep up with good work :) Steemit indeed needs more people as responsive and supportive as you are.
