GPU Crypto Mining - Geforce GTX 750 Ti
The first GPU I purchased to mine Cryptocurrency was a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 750 Ti featuring 2GB of GDDR5 memory. I bought it used on ebay for $100 and it has paid for itself many time over in the last 3 years.
According to Whattomine.com, here are the expected hashing statistics for different algorithms and the most profitable coins to mine using this GPU.
The profitability of coins is constantly changing as miners flock to the most profitable coins, driving their difficulty up and profitability down. As you can see, I am not getting rich mining with this card, but it's very low power consumption helps to ensure that I can still mine profitably.
Since Monero is currently to most profitable coin to mine with this card, I am mining it using ccminer v2.2 running the cryptonight algorithm. As shown below, I'm not quite getting the expected hashing results since I am running this with stock settings instead of trying to push the card harder. But since this GPU has been mining almost non-stop for the last 3 years I think the longevity of the card more than makes up for the reduced mining performance.
Stay tuned as I'll be featuring additional GPUs that I have acquired over the years and am using to mine cryptocurrencies.
Until next time...
wow that cool are you still mining more or have you taken it onto another level of mining :D
I'm using this GPU to mine on an old computer I'm not using for anything else at the moment. Just happens that this was the computer I got started mining Steem on last year.
sorry to disturb you my friend. do you still mining steem . does it allow nowadays
Unfortunately they killed Steem mining in Hardfork 17 at 18. I don't remember which, but it had effectively been dead for months before that since one or two people had either devised a cheat or developed a GPU miner. So they killed mining and added another witness slot to fill the mining void.
Not a lot of money, but every little bit helps. @OriginalWorks

Thank you.

Thank you!
good
Thank you.
I tried mining a while back but i calculated with the rig i was douing it was inputing more money then i was gaining out of it. (price of elec was more expensive then the currency i was taking out)
That is definitely a concern, especially with older, less powerful mining equipment. Sometimes it is better just to take the money you would spend on electricity and buy the crypto you want.
i figured as much :)
the best of mining coins now a days are monero for sure, and i found some of them interest about digibyte as well.
I got some information from here

thanks for sharing your ideas with us , appreciate it .
Good luck for the miners
Lot's of good information on that site. Thanks for mentioning it.
seems pretty interesting and useful information on mining and as the amount have been already given out to you so it is pretty fine .
Thank you.
