Defeating the minnows-effect on steemit

A minnow is a steem terminology used to describe the beginner stages in the trajectory on steemit. It is also a stage that is marked by various challenges which every steemian is concerned and should be commited to surpassing.
There are three stages in the steemit trajectory which are the minnows, dolphines and whales.

I am @fuhreresu and part of what i aim at sharing on this post is my ten days experience in this new community and how it has helped me improve on steemit.
Many a minnows are quick to rushing into exploring the overwhelming depth of the steem ocean without properly following the guidlines on the welcome section
and most times hurrying off to making that posts we feel might fetch us money which will consequently make us whales in a twinkle of an eye and becoming the steemian celebrity we have pictured in our heads which is totally healthy as it is a sign of a healthy self esteem and such illusion can be seen to be true for a good number of minnow.
However, this has become some sort of defect on the rise with a great number of minnows finding it out the hard way which can indeed be frustrating most times when your aspirations are not easily met, i can tell you that from experience.
It isn't a bad idea at all for seeking rewards for work done but that shouldn't be the case when it is carried out in a shabby manner which then lies the essence of this post and why it is aimed at putting a minnow in the right perspective without having to let them discovering it the hard way from their mistakes even though experiences are important but not when it is a product of indecision.

Steemit which is blogging in itself has guidelines
The money shouldn't be the major priority at beginning of the blogger early stages. Earning from a blog has its procedures;
First and foremost, the content of the blog
The audience and
Then the money.

The money does not come before the content and neither does the audience come before the content, both of them come after the content likewise the money also coming after the audience and this is how the system operates as one is a prerequisite for the other, which until when these conditions are met there can be no rewards on your post.
The audience consist of the potential upvoters who when they have read your post would upvote, comment and resteem your post.

The content of a blog is what brings the audience to the publisher, a group of people who find the post interesting and educative. Take for e.g @bitcoincompany primarily makes post relating to the bitcoin which is its major content while the followers mainly consist of people who are interested about the bitcoin and aim at getting heads up about the bitcoin ultimately making them the upvoters, commenters and resteemer of the post made by the @bitcoincompany.

Tags

The tags are like keys to a portals, like a doorways to another dimension or audience to a community. The tags determines who sees and reads your post. E.g when talking about yourself it is advised that you make use of the #introduceyourself tag and also when talking about bitcoin tags like #bitcoin #cryptocurrency #money etc should be used. The highest number of tags to be used on a post is a maximum of five tags and this tags must be relevant to the post you have made or else you could be flagged for using wrong tags.

Connecting with people
The easiest way to growing on steemit and consequently defeating the minnows-effect is to be in a community, your community should be such that member are determined to giving inputs or sharing and sharing solutions to challenge faced which can better guide the minnows to growing on the platform.
