Steemit: Review and Suggestions

in #minnowsupport7 years ago

Hello Steemit developers, this post is intended for especially and also my fellow steemians can also read this. I am thinking to provide some suggestion to steemit user interface to give the quality content top priority by following some of the suggestions:

1. Steemit Rating System:  Steemit should have a rating system mechanism to show the user highly rated posts instead of showing the money oriented approach as it leads to more genuine author can get steemit light instead of the highest money earning posts.

Here is the screenshot which I have taken as an example to show you guys:

2. The home page should include the rating tag so that user can rightly jump on to the sections. The rating tag can include ratings as stars 5 for highest quality and 1 for the lowest(5-1) and also unrated articles. So the users or big whales can directly look for the content as to support the hardworking author or to provide guidance to the new users if they need it.

3. Steemit should include a tutorial of highest grade for "The introduction to Steemit" to the new member not the text based information but just the video as user can directly go to the work after a walk through by steemit community. You can hold up a competition for this and people will be happy to participate in this. As this help the new user to quickly get down to the business.

4. Search Engine: Now the main complain for this is the search section for me. It is a  huge turnoff for me. Why a multi-million dollar community is not having its own search engine to search for quality content? We can support the developers if they have money problems. I think Steemit community is happy to help the developers in this. And if they want to volunteers for this. They can hold a small competition for the programmers who are interested in search engine development.  I don't want to see the google search engine but the steemit search engine.

Hope you guys, Like my suggestions.
