My very first puppy, a Miniature Pinscher (german dog)

in #minpin7 years ago (edited)

I've always wanted a dog, always! Unfortunately, my parents wouldn't let me and my brother have one, because they were concerned that we wouldn't care for the dog well enough and they would end up having to do so.

Well, fast forward a couple of years..... now three and a half years ago, my dream came true.
I was finally going to have my first dog, but since I love all dogs, I couldn't make up my mind on which kind I wanted.
I love them all, big, small, skinny, tall, black, white, brown, grey, brittle, one eye, three legs etc.

I initially wanted a pit pull, I love them and I wanted a bigger dog, but my boyfriend said it should be a smaller dog, since we lived in an apartment back then.
He suggested a Miniature Pinscher and at first, I wasn't too sure, but I soon started researching about them.

Fast forward again, a couple of months later, in December 2013, we picked up little Milo (full name: MILO DA CHIEF ROCKA #1), at 8 weeks old.
I wanted a male and when we arrived there, I was told that there were only four females, until this kid says, "Daddy, I think this one is a boy", and my decision was made.

He since has brought so much joy and love to my life and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He makes me laugh and he has his own little big personality that just warms my heart.

Here are a few pictures of him as a puppy
