Misa De Gallo Day 1

I am one of those who are excited to wake up early in the morning to attend the 9 days mass during this Christmas season that we call misa de gallo. The said mass is celebrated early in the morning like 4:00 AM or so. The misa de gallo brings a lot of fond memories and my Christmas season would not be complete without it. Well, I woke up early today like 2:00 AM and was not expecting anything. I saw on youtube a mass being celebrated live. It is day 1 of misa de gallo online. Funny I realized we are on quarantine still and this is how the mass will be observed moving forward. So I watched the live broadcast until it was over. Is this the new normal? Of course it is I just can not believe this is happening.

I already had forgotten about the mass but when I opened my twitter it #misadegallo is trending in the Philippines. That made me browse youtube and search for a live broadcast and luckily I found this one on the screen capture. This is in Quiapo Church.
