The rough start to the 2018 season continues for The Warriors. A terrible performance all-around led to another loss. This time to Numbah One. The Warriors will start the 2018 season with an 0-3 record, but they look to turn things around in Week 4.

Batting

The struggle continues for the Warriors bats. Five of the Warriors nine batters scored less than 10 points. Only one batter, Manny Machado (3B,SS, Baltimore Orioles) was hot, with a score of 44. Buster Posey (C, 1B, San Francisco Giants) found himself in a terrible slump and scored only 1 point for the Warriors in Week 3. The Warriors first overall draft pick, Giancarlo Stanton (OF, New York Yankees) also remains in a slump putting up just 6 points for the week. They look to turn things around as they head into the Week 4 matchup.

Pitching

Rick Porcello (SP, Boston Red Sox) got himself another win and now has a 4-0 record. Alex Wood (SP, Los Angeles Dodgers) had a couple nice starts and tallied up 31 points although he failed to get a win. Masahiro Tanaka (SP, New York Yankees) gave up 6 earned runs a received a loss giving him a score of -7 for the week. Brad Bach (RP, Baltimore Orioles) gave up 3 runs in 2 innings which landed him quickly in the Free Agents. Andrew Miller (RP, Cleveland Indians) will get the start going forward.

Numbah One's Box Score

Numbah One's pitching staff was dominant in Week 3 and was enough to beat the Warriors entire team alone. Combined they scored a total of 226 behind some quality double-starts from Patrick Corbin (SP, Arizona Diamondbacks), Dallas Keuchel (SP, Houston Astros) and Lance McCullers Jr. (SP, Houston Astros). Jake Arrieta (SP, Philadelphia Phillies) threw 10 Ks in 7 innings to tack on 33 points. Carlos Correa (SS, Houston Astros) and Javier Baez (SS, 2B, Chicago Cubs) carried the bats with over 30 points a piece. Numbah One had by far the most points in the entire league in Week 3.
