SHOW TOPICS
The inhumane and illogical “drug war” destroying individuals’ lives, families, and livelihoods.
Building communities both on Steemit and in “real life.” I’ll be talking about a new community I am part of here on Steemit and also offline called “Steem City Niigata.” ( @steemcityniigata )
Don’t miss it! VJ LIVE! Tuesday, October 31st 🎃, @ 10:30 PM JST (Japan)!
Steemit Community Building
@boxcarblue and I here on a cloudy, gray and cold Niigata Monday, working out some of the finer points for the new project.
With the recent launch of our new community @steemcityniigata, @boxcarblue, @maxinpower, and myself have been talking a lot about how we can use this community to directly connect Steem to real life monetary transactions locally, build a support network for Niigata Steemians, and share ideas which will increase the happiness and financial liberty of all involved.
Head on over to @steemcityniigata to see what it’s all about!
Finally, some wisdom from Ralph Waldo Emerson on changing your mind, from the essay “Self-Reliance”:
In other words, don’t be afraid to do you! Make mistakes, learn, change your mind. It’s all good. Just never stop pushing forward!
That’s it for the Steem Desk this week, folks, so glad to be back, and see you on #VJLIVE! tomorrow!

Yeah..nice and important topics chosen for discussion .. will definitely check the VJ Live.. This "drug addiction" is a burning topic destroying specially the youngsters/ teenagers. Families , individuals are affected by it.. I have seen these young ones suffering from depression , frustrations, aggressiveness, displaying violent behaviour ,moving away from parents etc..
Anyway, best wishes to you and have a nice day...
I agree drugs can be destructive, but I think what is even more destructive is the government's treatment of individuals who choose to peacefully smoke a plant or use whatever drugs they wish. The government is ruining lives and destroying families over this. That is what I mean by the "drug war." Thanks always for your commentary.
The govt. is now waging war on people and their pain meds. They make one person I know go to the streets. Now its a criminal act
Ok..thank you for making the concept more clear to me...
Now it's evening here..I will visit the link to hear the discussion..but the problem is the site is not working properly ....
You have choosen a very demanding subject, which has engulfed the mini to macro city with its evil power.. Mainly the generation of adolescence period suffers more... Because they are unable to say"No"any bad practise.. Or bad manners... Even knowing its impact... So proper guidance and counselling is necessary in this period... If we have not aware in that very moment, we have to lost our future world...because today's generation is the generation of tomorrow.... Waiting egarly for my popular live show I, e VJLive....
Sounds great with one of my best friend @boxcarblue, discussion about the burning topics, which is most unique disease of every social surroundings.
