When I look at the financial news I usually look at the 5 yr yield, the 10 yr yield, and the 30 yr yield...but what do the figures that I am looking at mean?
Its complicated but if you are trading stocks or derivatives of, follow the 10yr.
Do those numbers follow the interest rate that your savings account at the bank earns? Or even the intrest rate that savings bonds earn?
