Buy Gold and Silver?

in #money8 years ago (edited)

For those of you who don't know, gold and silver use to be real money in the world and the dollar use to be backed by gold, but is not now-a-days.

If you go to usedebtclock.org, on the bottom right had corner of the screen, you will see what the current price of silver/gold would be if the dollar was backed by it.

For those of you who are looking to invest with little money, look into buying silver. The price is < $20 and has the potential to substantially increase in price in the years to come.

@cryptowallet great article. To me gold and silver is still real money, everything else is just currency. Keep stacking my friend.

Gold and silver have been used as money for thousands of years. I have been a silver stacker for about 5 years, and i highly recommend it.

Get into Crypto's, Silver & Gold, and even paper money and pocket change, and then your covered on all fronts. Well at least on the Financial side of things.
@digestingreality

Yes, I know. About to sell some of my lovely silver to help pay for my new house in Spain. Got the money to buy the house its the TAXES!!! Damn. X

Yep diversity is key however I like tangible assets more than fiat paper!

Great article, @cryptowallet. Just upvoted this, as far as gold and silver, all you need to know is that they've been around since the human race began recording history. Paper currency, on the other hand, every single one of those currencies, EVENTUALLY collapsed on itself. 👍🏻

Gold and silver Jr. miners have big upside when this ponzi u.s.d is over.
