Yes, I totally agree. I try to get involved in coins that are on at least two exchanges .
They pulled a mt gox and ran away with everyone's coins. It's important to remember that if you don't control the private key for a wallet, it's technically not your money. Sorry about your loss.
Thanks , yeah I realise and started to remove coins but got caught short. These things are just lessons to learn and we are not protected at the moment . Hopefully ,in the future, we'll find a way to stop or make it more difficult. We gotta get rid of these characters they slow things up. All part of the change process , Which one next ? :-)

last i heard was that cryptsy was going through a letigation process in a Florida federal court and undergoing an auditing.. but this was a few months ago.. yes it seems the ran away with our moniez
Yeah ,that's what I heard too, he allegedly needed the money for his wife with regard to a settlement. I wonder how it feels to know we all know he ran off with it ?
ive been wondering the same thing. The news out there sure looks like we were scammed but would love to here the rest of the story.
Hopefully if and when the law adjudicates on the criminal action, the internet will let us the people know. Atleast with Bter they re-opened even if they still have not paid out the small losses to the small man :-)
