Other than the in game currency aspect of a game, what is the actual advantage or point of the blockchain here?

Sorry somehow missed the question earlier. Well, the sweetest advantage is a cryptocurrency token itself. In-game, the Lazerchain coins are used to create a so-called zero-sum economy - a fixed market cap, and the tokens change hands as the ingame actions dictate. One can of course sell or buy his coins on an exchange too, like usually, but to me the zero-sum economy looks more interesting.
