Talking Shit (Read, Comment, Up vote)

So... I've been on steemit for about a week now. And I've made a total of 50 cents.

So... I'm not sure if anybody else is making money on here, but it looks like it's become increasingly difficult to monetize this platform. Maybe akin to the increase in Bitcoin mining difficulty.

Anyway these days I'm stocking up on Ripple. At close to .20 cents a piece a $1000 investment will make you 1.2 Million (if it matches Ether) or 15 Million (if it matches Bitcoin).

This is the year that I've got to make my first Million. I just turned 25 so if I'm not 25 sittin on 25 Mill before my 26th birthday, I will gladly retire my Million Dollar Dreams and reside to life as an employee.

I'm getting old, and I'm probably the type to live fast and die Young, so I can feel the clock ticking.

It's depressing being an employee. I don't know how we do it. I went from Minimum wage to $70,000/year and I still live pay cheque to pay cheque. Heck even when I was a contractor not paying taxes and pocketing close to $120,000/year I was still living pay cheque to pay cheque.

Is there something wrong with me?

I still get pay day loans and they are honestly shocked when they see my salary. I get questions like what is a guy with a good paying, stable job (I work for the government), doing taking out a Payday Loan.

Well I'm clearly living beyond my means.

And realistically I probably won't be paying off any of my debt unless it's all in one lump sum payment (probably around 200k).

So if I do become a Millionaire, that's 200k off the top. And don't forget the government (here in Canada they'll want at least half).

So... As you can see, even with a Million Dollars I will probably still be broke (can't even buy a Villa).

Hence why I need to be 25 sittin on 25 Mill, on a throne of cash, on the cover of Forbes Magazine.

The path.....

Blockchain, AI, and IoT.

The Blueprint is to create a Distributed Intelligent Application running in process on both Mobile Devices and Connected IoT devices.

To break it down. It's Blockchain running directly in your phone, connected to other random devices (fridge, tv, door locks) that are also connected to the Blockchain, that each have AI running directly in them (Facial Recognition, Voice Recognition, etc).

What is Blockchain?

A global, open, shared, secure database that anybody can share, view, and verify. It's like if Google, Facebook, Uber, etc, all made their data open, and you owned your data, and you could take your data anywhere you wanted securely (A bunch of encryption makes it so that only you can see your data on this global database aka Blockchain).

What is AI?

Artificial Intelligence duh.... Anyways now there are a bunch of open source libraries that let you use some of the same magic that bigger companies pump into their ai systems i.e. Text to Speech, Data Analysis, Computer Visualization, Language Processing, etc. It's just a matter of reading some documentation and Stack Overflow (Google for Developers).

What is IoT?

Everything! Devices everywhere connected to the Internet. The internet is divided by these tech Giants who don't know how to share. Now imagine all of these devices connected to the open, shared, database that is the Blockchain. The opportunities are endless. There will be no more middle man.

So what tech am I planning to use.

Solidity (Blockchain), TensorFlow (AI), Android Things (IoT). I'll get into the details in another post (if there's enough interest).

If I make it, this post will be historic, and you will be able to say I knew that guy when he was living pay cheque to pay cheque lol.

Then again I might just blow the 25 Million and go right back to living pay cheque to pay cheque.

But hey, at least I'll have a story to tell :P
