I have done layaway with companies like the shopping channel. I once bought a collection of 60 Newfoundland coins, including a rare gold one, from them using their monthly payment plan. Those coins are rare and vastly undervalued. I would think about doing this with Mene products, but I'd rather buy them as I had the cash. When I bought the chain, I used my credit card to get my grocery points, but paid it off immediately with my bonus.
