Type of Currency
Currency is a valid payment instrument in a place of value. Each country has its own currency. However, there are also some countries that unite the currency like the Euro is widely used by countries in Europe. The most widely used currency today is the US Dollar. Here is a list of currencies that exist in every country in the world complete with pictures of one of its fractions, symbols, and ISO code. There are actually 180 UN-recognized currencies (see ISO code). However, because there are some countries that have the same currency even though they are basically different, we put together to save space and so the loading time of this article is not too long.
