That's why you should not keep checks with purchases
I work in an expensive boutique. We sell designer clothes and shoes. We have regular customers. And one of the weekdays one of our regular clients came to us. She was accompanied by a girl (by behavior one could conclude that they are good friends).
Our client chose clothes, paid for the goods and left. After a couple of days, the client returned the goods. The sellers checked the condition of the goods, the presence of checks and tags. The goods were returned to the trading floor.
A week later, the same client comes to us again, whose things had to be returned. At that moment I was in the trading floor.
- Girl, you're the manager?
- Yes!
"How does it happen that the girls told me that this blouse is in a single copy?" Even weeks have not passed, as you have in the store the same blouse that I already bought.
I remembered well that it was this very white blouse that the girls returned to the hall. Slightly hung. What about the woman? Trolling?
I call the cashier girl, I ask her. It turns out that the return was not made by the client, but by some other woman. We raise the documentation, including the application for the return of goods and a copy of the applicant's passport, we begin to check the video surveillance cameras.
So this is her friend, that with her at that moment was in the hall!
I'm shocked, the client, too.
Later it was found out that on the day of purchase at our constant client someone stole the whole bag with things. Even later, I managed to find out that the client's girlfriend allegedly managed to steal the package from the rear seat of the car when she drove her to the house.
So keep after that checks along with the goods. That's trusted after that girlfriends.
