Being employed without being employed...

in #money7 years ago

Let's just cut to the chase. The biggest challenge a college student can have is being B-R-O-K-E. Broke. Not all students are able to find jobs or are even eligible for the work study programs offered. So what can you do to make money without going all the way out ? Honestly.... there are many things you can do.

This is a point in time where any skills or talents that you have can be transferred and converted to a service. Believe it or not as college students, we actually help each other out when it comes to this. For example, I use to get paid for writing papers. English and writing have always been one of my strongest subjects, so why not put it to the test.

Alot of other services that college students tend to make great money off :

-selling snacks/candy
-doing hair
-giving haircuts
-tutoring
-makeovers
-hosting parties

Recently, I have started another service that has alot to do with my major, Graphic Design. I found a way to use the skills that I do have to create logos, flyers, etc. and which are products that many people need.

Yesterday, I started to promote this service and I already have 3 projects to do for 3 different people, getting paid ofcourse. That goes to show you that if you really want to make money on your time , your way, with no complications... go ahead and use the talent that you have and explore beyond measure.
