Financial freedom with control-finance or a giant scam? Day zero

in #money7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians,

I came across the control-finance.com website 2 days ago and was very interested in the opportunity they seem to be offering. They have a lot of big promises, let's see if they deliver. This is day zero of my blog of all the good things and bad that comes with investing with them.

The website:

In signing up, I found that it was super simple. It's free and easy to navigate. Looking around the site I found helpful videos that walk you through every step. Also, there are testimonial videos in different languages. Another thing I found to be interesting is their referral system. No money is required in your account to get your referral link. So, it's possible to get started without any money out of pocket.

Referral link and transferring funds:

As you can see, there are a few options to getting your funds in your account. I had no idea what any of these were except for bitcoin. I chose bitcoin to get started.

Small deposit:

I did have a problem transferring with Coinbase, due to how slow Coinbase is right now. I had no problem transferring funds from Bittrex, but due to my miscalculation, I sent the wrong amount. If you deposit any bitcoin it has to be a minimum of $10. I sent around $7.00, so I tried one more time and got it right. When you do your first deposit they give you a bonus. As you can see I sent $12.54 and they gave me a bonus of $0.62. Which means I have a starting total of $13.16. I will be putting in more very soon. I will take out the $7.22 that was a mistake.

The big promise:

This picture made me pay attention. The first thing I saw was the daily interest rate that you can compound. The interest they offer depends on the amount you have in your account. They offer two choices for your interest. First choice is to either cash it out, as long as it is over a penny. The second option is to roll it over to compound it. The drawback is that, you will never be able to pull out your account balance. It means you can pull out interest that you earned that day and also any referral money that you received, but not your initial investment. The positive side is that they claim to pay you for life. I'm guessing for as long as the company stays afloat.

The Numbers:

They do have a real cool calculator on the bottom of the investment page. In the example, they show someone who invests with $1,000. As you can see the daily amount a person would bring in is $12.50. The total year amount I believe without reinvesting is $4562.50 and that is all passive income. WOW! You can make over 4 times your money in a year without doing anything. Cool! I wanted to show an example of a $10,000 investment. Can you believe making $150 a day, and a total of $54,750 in a year? DANG!

Does this sound like the best deal ever or a huge Ponzi scheme? Either way, I will show you my success or epic fail. In my next post, I will show you my first day and get into more detail about what they do with the funds that they bring in.

Not going to lie, looking forward to your reaults. Even though i know for a fact that site is a scam.

Hello btcupload,
I really hope this is a legit site, but it does sound too good to be true. We will definitely find out one way or the other.

The OriginalWorks bot seems to be working hard. Thanks for the upvote.

i also spend some money altough its quite possible that the site will close down the next months - i do not think their business model is sustainable, so my strategy is to invest hard and withdraw all profits (roi after 3 months) - lets see if it works out...

I also had a similar thought of pulling all of my interest out until I broke even. Which would be around 3 months, after that going back and forth with profit and interest.

This guy has a different view on it -
