Monochrome Monday--Sequoia in Black and White
Good Memorial Day Monday Steem! Today I'm going with the Monochrome theme, and sharing some black and white photos of Sequoia National Park. While visiting the museum inside the park, we got to see a lot of old black and white photos from the beginnings of the park, sadly some of these were pictures of Giant Sequoias being cut down! I still enjoyed seeing these historical photos, but luckily the park was protected before all the trees were destroyed.

A undercut tree in the park around 1904 that was left standing for several months so people could get their picture taken in it--not my photo of course!
A fallen Seqoiua around 1910. I've seen this photo around the internet before, didn't know it was in Sequoia.
Present day, still a lot of big trees standing!
