The bright white of fresh snow just begs to be used in monochrome!
The lake was frozen over, but has thawed now.
You can see a dusting of snow in the woods!

Soft and lovely, just as the first of snows usually are. A perfect #MonochromeMonday presentation, even if it was merely a preview.
I actually love the snow, the beauty of the true frame of the trees, with no leaves to cover it up.

I'm finding that the nuances of grey, white, and shadow that occur daily during the colder months in the north are quite lovely! I hope they still look interesting in March, lol!!
