Taking the scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon!
Just a short drive away the the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip, you will find the harsh desert and the beautiful desertscape of Red Rock Canyon. There is a nicely paved road that circles the area and this is a photo taken on that journey 🙂
Anybody who ever has a chance to visit Las Vegas, take a little time and get out here, it’s a great spot to see something other than poker tables, slot machines and chain smoking grandmas with martinis.

Oh I loved visiting Redrocks in Vegas. I heard the climbing is really good out there, but I haven't had a chance to climb outside there. Do you climb by any chance? :)
It is awesome out there for climbing from what I hear too! I don't climb, I've just never gave it a thought I guess, but will give anything a shot if I can hype myself up for it :)
Really great for hiking there, but this time of year is dangerous because of the heat, so stay hydrated and then some! Thanks for the comment @karensuestudios!
Oh yea.. Probably not the best time to climb... rocks are probably hot hot hot! Yes! Did you get to hike the wave? I love it out there... the rocks look like bacon!
I'll have to look into that for when it cools down a bit, thanks for the scoop! Looking at bacon rocks sounds like a deliciously nice way to spend a hike :)

Sweet! I hear it more and more often. Those iPhones sure do make nice pictures :)
All the newer iPhones, Samsungs etc. are such great cameras these days and people always have them with them to be able to take pictures or videos of stuff quickly, and at a moment's notice.
Yeah, I noticed! I need a new phone real bad then haha!
Any of the new phones will be spectacular, find one with the look/feel and features you like and go for it :)
