His name is Digby. Some High School friends of one of my sons named him. They found him in a garage as a kitten but the kid who found him was allergic to cats. So they brought him to our house. They know we are suckers for the strays.
Actually I am seeing the color is not exactly opposite. But when I first saw your photo that was my thought.
Digby I notice has changed color and gotten darker with age. I just shot this photo and realize even more change than the photo above.
Is that unusual or do lighter cats get darker with age? I've never had one change this much.
He looks a bit like a Snowshoe, making him partly Siamese. Siamese cats are known to get darker with age. Apparently this happens because their skin temperature drops. So it is normal for Digby, who is gorgeous

We thought he would probably be part Siamese.
He is a handsome cat, and sometimes I think he knows it the way he acts. Very privileged at times.
