Mandala Monument is on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Makassar. This building was erected to commemorate the Liberation of West Irian which occurred in 1966 ago. In this city was once the center of the Mandala Command Headquarters. The shape of this monument is almost similar to the form of the National Monument (Monas).

The building of this monument is triangular and there is a tower that reaches 75 meters high. The triangle here symbolizes the symbol of Tri Komando Rakyat (Trikora). On the outer wall of the monument, there are reliefs depicting the story of the struggle for liberation of West Irian and the lives of the people of South Sulawesi.
