Devotion to mother

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Bayazid his mother was ill.

One night he was studying by the side of the bed of his ill mother. All on a sudden, his mother woke up, raised her head and told her son to give her a glass of water.

Bayazid went to the kitchen to bring water. But the pitcher was empty. There was not a single drop of water in the house. He searched for water here and there, but in vain. Then he decided ti fetch water from the nearby fountain. The night was dark. He took the pitcher and went to the fountain for water.

When he came back home filling the pitcher to the brim, he found his mother in deep sleep. So he didn't want to disturb his mother. He decided to stand beside his mother's bed with the glass of water. His mother awoke in the morning and found her son standing beside her bed seeing that, her eyes became full of tears. She took him in her arms with motherly affection and blessed him from the core of her heart. Her blessing made him a great saint later.
