A Practical Advice to Wake Up Early Without Pain |Productivity|

in #motivation7 years ago

I'm going to cut the story short. If you believe in power of waking up early to be more productive you have to create an exciting event to do first thing in the morning. What? Let me explain.

Remember the days that you were late to school or work. You couldn't hear the alarm or snoozed it way too much. Why this happens? Because you hate your job, you hate going school/uni. Reward is not better than sleeping. Waking up early to do something you don't like to do is sucks. We all know that.

And now remember those days: The day you got your first car, that beach holiday you've been waiting for ages and you're flying tomorrow morning, that breakfast with your favourite person etc... How easy it was to wake up right? Before the alarm!

Do i have to say more? You got my point?

Briefly;

You have to put that thing makes you excited on top of your daily to do list. The thing that will reward you. It can be pretty much anything. You have to feel that excitement when you put your head down on the pillow. Here is a real life example.

I like Steemit. I see big potential on it. I'm so happy that i'm part of it on its early stages. Because it offers a lot of benefits to who contributes. I am also aware of one thing: Only way to get benefit from the platform is creating content. Constantly. Every piece of content you put out there is building up. Every single of them counts. Every article, video or picture that you share is getting you one step closer to wherever you wanna be. You can't lose! That's how i see it. It creates a big excitement in my soul. Especially righ after i clicked to ''post''.

When i don't do the things i should do, i always use ''lack of time'' as an excuse. I don't have enough time, i'm tired, i could't sleep, i'm so busy blah blah blah... But right now, what i am doing is making me so excited. I easily wake up an hour early to write this crap or post a picture with my coffee. And than go to work! You see the point now?

Of course i'am not saying everybody has to wake up 5am. Do it only if you believe in the benefits of it. Only if you feel like waking up early would be good for you. Only if you want it! Only if you need it. All you have to do create something that excites you. Think about your goals, your targets. Forget about the process, just focus on results, your end point. Whatever you do to achieve those, should make you excited.

That's my way.

Thanks for your time.

It's easier to get up early in the summer... in the winter time... not so much!

Having extra few hours make big difference in this busy life. I know it's hard but results are great, it's worth it. It's easier when you focus on the results not the process ;)
