Your Impact In Your World.png

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make” - Jane Goodall

Ever feel down when you are not seeing the results with your business? Questioning whether you’ve made the right choice? Uncertain about the future?

These are all negative questions and are not conducive on the pathway to your success. End each day thinking about three things that have happened to you that day, three things that you are grateful that happened to you, no matter how big or small, then think about what role you played in these three situations happening.

If you find yourself in the position feeling your life isn’t what it should be, you’re unhappy, you’re not where you want to be in your life - you are just focusing on what isn’t working, beating yourself up as you are not accomplishing what you set out to.

Take a step back from all of that - clear your mind - try and just recognise your power, think about those 3 positive things that have happened to you that day, and how you made those things happen. Think about how you’ve affected your world and the people that have surrounded you that particular day.

We need to use mindfulness to make the most of the opportunities that are presented to us on a daily basis.

Mindfulness? What is that? - Mindfulness is focusing on the present so that we do not get lost in thoughts about what could happen tomorrow, or what actually occurred yesterday. Instead, we give our focus. All of it. 100%. No distractions. To whatever we are doing right now.

Mindfulness isn’t easy, in fact far from it. Especially in our culture with the internet, social media, mobile phones, laptops, all that overstimulation, the rush for information, the rush from place to place. Just slow down, have a breather, become calmer, become more aware, with the focus on ultimately becoming contemplative.

Mindfulness is essentially a habit. Something that is easier to develop with time, when you make a point of doing something daily that trains your mind from wandering off in every direction.
