This is why Mondays Suck
Because you say they do.
I hear it a lot.
“Ugh, I hate Mondays.”
“Mondays are the worst day of the week.”
"Monday sucks."
Monday sucks because you say it does.
Monday can also be great. If you say it is.
Monday is my favorite day of the week.
Here’s why:
Monday is an opportunity for a fresh start. It is the beginning of something new.
Monday is full of possibility.
Monday represents an opportunity for you to begin again. For you to do, be, or create something great with your week.
Because I love what I am priviliged to do.
And if you don’t like Monday because you don’t like your job, your life, your whatever - don’t blame Monday.
It never did anything to you.
Blame yourself.
Make today great.
Or make it suck.
You get to choose.
So true. A lot of people hate Mondays yet it's not about the first day of the week but mostly about their boring jobs or lives. It's upon us to make Monday as exciting as the weekend.
