MOTIVATION #2 -- A Tough Start To Life Is Not An Excuse For Failure: Make A Decision To Succeed Today
A tough start in life is not an excuse for failure in life. I often sympathize with children of the rich and well-to-do in the society. All too often, the “start in life” given to them, in trying to give them a better start, often really amounts to a set- back in life! In all sincerity, there are a few who take advantage of the opportunity and have written their names in the Hall of Fame, but most often the excesses of this all readymade start has led many into drugs, prostitution, robbery, cultism etc.
We all are supposed to stand on our feet instead of being provided with crutches and being limited in our abilities to create wealth and appreciates to create wealth and appreciate the real value of success on our own. All men were created equal, and God treats everyone on the same basis. I now realize that it is true that God creates everyone on the same basis.”
There are untapped potentials in us that could change our lives, if we only take the bold step and use what we have at the moment-our voice, hands, legs, and much more. Don’t put off or delay any idea; just believe in yourself and explore the possibilities. You may succeed when others don’t believe you can or even see you as a failure, but you will never succeed in the journey of life if you don’t believe in yourself. After all,
“God purposely choose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise, and He chooses what the world consider weak in order to shame the powerful.”
I would like to urge you today never to allow your background to act as a catalyst to not fulfilling your potentials. Your background doesn’t matter, what matters is how you react to the situations of life. So many of the richest men and women in the world today didn’t have a golden background. They made decisions on their own, worked harder and were able to make their names.
Mark Zuckerberg didn’t really come from a very rich background like some of you today, but he understood the concept of planning and hard work. At the age of 18 he already had visions, at 19 he launched Facebook which later became one of the most popular and most used social network all over the world today. He would have relaxed and said, my Dad is a dentist, no need for me to have vision etc. but instead he discovered his potentials and made good use of it.
Dear readers, never you think you can’t be successful in life, never you think you can’t achieve that life goals of yours. Whenever you fill discouraged, and the world fills like it’s going down, get up, shake yourself and continue the race. The race of life is not for the weak. Don’t allow your situations to weigh you down. As you go out today fill your mind with positivity.
I see you succeeding beyond measures… don’t give up
