A suggested approach to problem solving

Two nights ago, my sister's room went up in flames from hot groundnut oil that was left heating. The fire was doused by pouring water on the pot that was spreading the fire and all the fire went out.

Sorry this may be gross to some or most of us.

This morning I was about to brush my mouth and I had phlegm stuck to my tongue. I tried removing it by spitting it out and it didn't come off not until I used my upper tooth to scrape it off from the tongue surface

Sometimes ago, I was listening to a speech about how light rays came and the speaker said "this big light ray you see did not just become big at once, it is small rays of light being accumulated to form one big wave from the source."

These three case scenarios if properly examined by you should point out one common word "Source" or "Root".

You see, when we humans are in a problem, we tend to attempt to face the whole problem heads on but that is wrong of us.

Problems should not be faced full head on, that is a wrong approach we make rowards it.

We need to

A. Admit that we have a problem

Like it is said, "delay is denial" is the same same as "denial being delay".
When you deny having a problem, your problem denies you. And the more you delay, the longer it takes to solve the problem.
When you admit that that you have a problem, you begin to face your problem.

B. Examine the problem

This should be our first approach to any problem we have. It be a family problem, financial problem, relationship problem, academic problem.

Take a good look at yourself or your problem. I have a flaw here, I am not doing something right here, I made a mistake here, you check yourself. By doing this, you get to proceed to looking for its source.

C. Look for its source

Properly looking into yourself helps you to determine the source of your problem. When the source is found, you have begun to solve your problems. Knowing where a problem started from is a way to get the problem solved. Then, you can begin to break the problem into bits.

D. Break the Problem into bits

Like an organisation is set in an hierarchical order from upper level to lower level, everything in life is set in that order. Even problems.

So what I want us all to do here is break your problems into order ranging from your big problems to your small problem.

Let the big problems come first in this order then followed by the small problems.
Pick up a pen and write them down in the order of their magnitude.

Like I said, big problems down to small problems.

E. Face the problem bit by bit

When you have successfully identified and written down the problems, then comes the performing of your resolve. And that is solving your problem.

Note: Pick the problems from the smallest and start solving them using the resources you have at your disposal. And please don't be ashamed or afraid to ask for help from people around you.

Not all problems can be solved alone.
You need the help and resources of others.

A major factor I have observed that hinders people from asking for help is EGO, PRIDE. Please drop your ego, let go of your pride, by doing this, you can get your problems solved.

I hope that we all can follow the above prescrived approach to solving our problems and i pray that our problems get solved also. Wish you all a problem free and problem solved day.

Thank you.
