Facing a difficult decision.
Fight or flow?
I hope that such steemians have rested enough this weekend to start the routine again full of energy, Today I want to pick up on a topic I talked about some time ago, It's about how to flow in change, I've been facing some pretty complicated decisions lately and share a little bit about them and why I've taken them.
Something I've always taken into account when making difficult decisions, where you don't know what to do, since you feel like you'll still suffer with whatever choice you make, It's simple, I'm just trying to make the decision that causes me the least suffering, I think this is one of the fundamental bases of what it means to me to flow with change.
The hardest decision that's been on my mind lately is whether I should emigrate from my country Venezuela or stay here and resist as long as I can, This is what I mean by "fight or flow, My mind struggles to hold on to the things and people that are important to me in this country, To be more precise, my family And then there's this part of me that says enough is enough, that deep down, it's better to live with a good memory than to remember your loved ones in pain.
Going back to the beginning, this is where I'm looking at the situation, I can see that any decision causes suffering and also fear, but yet every decision I make can affect me in a minor or major way, in a negative way and thinking more deeply about the pros and cons of each of them, I've decided to flow where my instinct leads me, Far away from here I hope to find the resources to support my family and if the river's flow is strong enough to take me to the sea in a hurry, I hope to find mine assembled again at the table when I return home.
Holding on to this country and fighting the current has only diminished my strength and limited my resources to help those I love, I tried to go as far as I could and I think it's time to leave to renew my strength, I hope to share in the coming months the progress of my journey, This will be an epic adventure I hope to tell you about.
