The Dying Light
Whenever I see something totally disheartening, I see it as a light, flickering its last flickers, about to just sputter and die. That way, the problem becomes more tangible. That way, I can have hope.
This is just a kind of perception. It has more to do with the viewpoints each one of you has on life rather than just a stupid light about to die. Perhaps the flickering light would label me a coward. Perhaps the way you look at problems would label you as someone with a lot of insights.
But, if the "flickering light" is only going to label me a coward, I can't do anything to change it. I would rather be a coward than follow a pattern that won't help me solve my problems.
That's what you have to understand: Find what works for you more than what doesn't.
