Dr. Joe Accardi, founder of the Canadian Positive Psychology Network, explains that positive psychology centers on helping people lead happy and healthy lives while also encouraging success and happiness in their professional endeavors.

Martin Seligman, a key figure in positive psychology, developed the PERMA model of happiness, which includes five essential elements: positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and achievement.
