The new Paradigm of Value

Steemit Community, After some time of understanding cryptocurrency, blockchain and lastly steemit I want to begin my initiation in this Social Platform by first congratulating this Blockchain-based Social Platform and the new Paradigm of Value that brings to the table. I'm certain that most of you here at first questioned and even may still be questioning how is it possible that anyone could be earning money (real actual US dollars) by just posting stuff on the network and upvoting others. Before I discuss my conception of how this works and why I'm so sure that this will perdure in the future I want to encourage people to read what I've read on the subject. The are several articles like Where DOES the money come from? by @steemrollin or Steemit for Dummies by @mindover that I'm sure would help you understand all of this, and it certainly helped me a whole lot. Most of them out there explain this by basically comparing it to how the global economy works today, and that is probably the way Dan Larimer (@dantheman) and his team thought of it in the first place. Also THIS VIDEO by Mike Malony may disclose some of the pitfalls of the current economy and how cryptocurrencies come to solve them in a much efficient way.

So, why new Paradigm of Value?... Well start by imagining this -- A meaningless bag of potato chips, a churro or a hotdog on the street is worth some dollars, whilst an article, an idea or an interesting comment or post on Facebook may not be worth anything at all!! -- This guys is what makes me understand that on the world we live today some of the most important forms of value are heavily underrated. The real value generated by an incredible human mind is valuated today less than a simple snack. How on earth does this makes sense?. Well now guys, suddenly the idea of the way people make money on Steemit is not so crazy right?. This platform has, in a way, given life to a whole new world of aggregated value spawned by the still not yet fully comprehended but amazingly gifted human mind which its thoughts have for a long time given for granted and ungracefully underrated. 

Before I end it, I want to leave out there some human hope for those who might be afraid of machines stealing our jobs thus increasing poverty or whatever other forms of cathastrophy might arise from "Artificial Intelligence". I'm convinced that machines will definitely replace most of today's forms of labor, however with that same confidence I state that new unexpected ways of income will emerge, the economic dynamics as we know it today will shift. It is up to us to make that shift as fast as possible, those who understand the new turn the world economics is taking, should divulgate this knowledge to the rest of the people that still don't even know what technologies like Blockchain are and the potential for a fairer economic future they bring.
