Unusual Thai recipes, the top 5
At the time of my last article on Julien's website, I gave you some tips on what to visit in Bangkok. Now that you're used to Thai life, let me show you my top 5 things to come back as a hero.

I propose you a culinary overview of Thai recipes, rather original and not found in every corner of the street. It is necessary to have a little bottle or fall on it by chance in most cases. In short, your backpacker's guide doesn't mention it. Activate your taste buds and let's go.
First Thai cooking recipe: Moukata
It's not a dish per se. Rather, it is a place equipped with individual barbecues with a part for cooking the meat (plancha principle) and a part for cooking vegetables (in water).
Better than a speech, a beautiful picture summarizes much more easily.
The principle is very simple. You pay about 200 baht (5€) and you can use meat, fish, seafood, vegetables, desserts at will. Kind of like an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant. Except it's 10 times better. You will be offered to accompany with beer, water or coca.
Perfect for a big hunger!
More spicy recipe
It was while having a drink with Thai friends that I discovered this famous mixture. It is made of a raw sausage with onion inside. All accompanied by fresh chilli pepper.
Once again the principle is simple, a bite of sausage for a small chili pepper. Seeing the passivity of my friends after having bought the chilli pepper, I told myself that I didn't risk anything and that it shouldn't be too strong.
Let's face it, I was wrong to rely on my instincts, I switched from white to red in a second time and had to cough for at least a quarter of an hour. And the beer I put on to make it look like it didn't do any good.
In short, to be tested without hesitation!
After the effort, the comfort.
There's nothing like a little sweetness to cool the chilli pepper's heat. Discovered while strolling through one of the markets in Bangkok, these little treats are a treat.
Entirely made from coconut, these "sweets" literally melt in the mouth. The box will cost you 20 baht or 0.50€, a misery compared to the sweets you can buy in France. If you want to treat yourself to a little sweetness after running around the city, I advise you without hesitation.
The stinking fruit, not that bad.
Everybody knows the durian. This fruit is forbidden in hotels and public transport because of the unpleasant smell of it. Well, they made chips out of them. Those with a taste that grows back will find these chips perfectly at their convenience.
Yes, these chips don't taste like fruit at all. Even my mom who hates the durian to swallow the package in less than 10 minutes. Very easy to find, you just have to go to the markets, and by default in big supermarkets such as "Big C".
A treat.
The "best" for the end of Thai recipes
Be careful, this last recipe will only suit Indiana Jones, those who are not cold eyes, men of the real ones! Although...
But since I like to play, I wouldn't tell you the name of the animal that went to the barbecue. I leave it to you to give me your suggestions in the comments.
Come on, the first one to find, I send him a postcard from Thailand on my next trip in February.
In any case, I hope that this little culinary tour will have made you discover new things. We're a long way from coconut soup! For those who are interested during their stay in Bangkok, I can give you a culinary tour of the city. A little mail and it's done. You will see, living in Thailand, it's really the foot!
I wish I can have some of the meat. I think it is a rabbit
