#1 Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

The movie revolves around the story of Jamal Malik, a contestant of the game show, "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" who was able to answer every question correctly,thus,being accused of cheating. He then narrates his life story, justifying how he answered each question. A brilliant masterpiece and a truly remarkable film.

#2 Shutter Island (2010)

One of Leonardo DiCaprio's best performances in a movie, this film leaves you contemplating for days. The movie is about Edward Daniels who investigates a psychiatric facility on Shutter Island after one of the patients had gone missing. Full of twists and turns, you can never predict what's coming next.

#3 John Wick (2014)

If you want to know more about who killed 3 men in a bar with just the use of a pencil then this movie is for you! The movie is centered with John Wick, an ex hitman that seeks revenge upon the killing of his dog. But I should warn you, this one's a violent film. I mean,really. Thrilling and exciting, it will surely keep you at the edge of your seat.

#4 Limitless (2011)

Ever wondered what it's like to take a drug that helps you make the most of your brain's capacity? The movie is about Eddie Morra and how his life drastically changed upon taking a power drug. The drug that could make him learn a new language,play a musical instrument and do extraordinary things. The movie shows you what it is like to be limitless.

#5 Train to Busan (2016)

A korean film that focuses on modern day zombie apocalypse as Seok-woo, a father and a manager, struggles to keep his daughter safe amidst all difficulties and gruesome zombies. Extremely thrilling,the movie will give you a train ride you will never forget!

#6 The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

"Brilliant" is an understatement. The movie focuses on the story of Andy Dufresne, a banker who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murder of his wife and her love. He then meets "Red",whom he befriended. The film embodies the true meaning of friendship and hope in the prison. A life changing movie that will make you laugh and cry.

The movie pivots around the story of a fishing vessel "Andrea Gail" as it faces two powerful weather fronts and a hurricane. Will the crew be able to survive? Thrilling and exciting, it will surely make your heart skip a beat!

Marvel never fails our high expectations.After a tragic car accident, Dr. Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon, searches for a way in order for him to bring his healing hands back which leads him into learning mystic arts and alternate realities. Excellent visual effects and humourous banter ,this is undeniably not your typical superhero movie!

You will never see an army greater than the "Nameless Order". Find out how the great wall was used to protect people against monstrous creatures that rise up every 60 years. Jam packed with arrows flying and amazing moves, this movie will satisfy your action movie craving.
