Quick Post : AATHARAM/ Affection. A Tamil Short film.

in #movie7 years ago

Dear Steemians, Let's make this 'virally' watched !!!

It gives me an immense pleasure to introduce you all to the work of Monish Raghava. I have known him since our days at University almost a decade ago; Which is a long time that has passed quite quickly.

Who is he?

He is an amazing, super talented, and aspiring movie director. His passion for movies and storytelling is purely infective(in a good way); His narration of stories and thoughts can keep most cynics and naysayers pinned to their seats. I have been introduced to Korean movies by him and it is because of that I ended up going to South Korea.

AATHARAM or AFFECTION: a Tamil short film you should watch.

The movie is purely poetic at several levels, Monish has explored the human nature of affection in a very unique perspective. If you have 11 minutes to spare, Please watch it.

The actors have done a really good job of conveying the story. It was done on a very low budget around 300 US $. I hope it gives you a piece of work worth remembering for a while.

  • It already has bagged prestigious short film awards.
  • It has been nominated in several short film festivals and screened throughout Europe and Asia.
