The Shining directed by Stanley Kubrick | DTube Movie Review

The Shining is directed by Stanley Kubrick and stars Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall and Danny Lloyd. I was already a bit of a film junkie when I heard about The Shining movie; however I was intent on reading the book by Stephen King first. Having done so and since watching the film…here is my movie review.

I thought Stanley Kubrick was the perfect director for this film. If you go and read up over what occurred on the set during the making of this movie you really understand why.
I think it was his goal to make the acting cast crazy so that it would reflect in their characters. Shelly Duvall said she had an awful time making this movie. Regardless whatever Kubrick did… it worked!
