I wonder why Steve Buscemi did not make it to the A list of supporting actors in Hollywood

Hello Folks, yesterday I had a chance to watch a very old movie - Fargo (1996). I should rate it as one of the best dark comedies I had ever seen. I had watched Coen Brothers' movies before. I did watch 'Burn after reading' in 2008 in a movie theater and liked it. And two years back, I watched the Academy award winning thriller 'No Country for Old men' in DVD.
I did not really follow the other movies which the talented brothers combo delivered. Recently when a discussion about movies came up, my friend suggested that I should watch the movie Fargo. I am glad that I did.
After seeing this movie, I have decided to watch few more of Coen brothers' old hits. After reading the brief story line available in wiki, I have chosen the following movies in my list: The Big Lebowski, The Hudsucker Proxy
Coming back to Fargo, the music in the opening credits was awesome. Made me listen to it again and again. All the actors William H. Macy, Frances McDormand and Steve Buscemi made the movie look real and not reel. The cinematography was great: I hate snow. But the cinematography won even a snow hater like me. This movie backdrop is set in winter.
Its no surprise that this movie won 7 Academy awards: Best Picture (Ethan Coen), Best Director (Joel Coen), Best Original Screenplay (Coen Brothers), Best Actress (Frances McDormand), Best Supporting Actor (William H. Macy), Best Cinematography (Roger Deakins)
Though I agree that William H. Macy's acting was great, I felt that Steve Buscemi deserved the Best Supporting Actor Academy award. I wonder why Steve Buscemi could not make to the A list of supporting actors like Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich

Below are some of the scenes from the movie. By the way, the guy driving the car is Steve Buscemi.

Whoa Daddy!!! scene is also good. But I am not including it here because of blood and violent content

That's it for today. If you are 1990s movies lover or if you like dark comedies, I would recommend you to get a copy of the movie "Fargo" and watch it.
Like I always say, Take it easy guys. Have a good day.
