Movie Review: "Wind River" (no spoilers)
9/10
"Wind River" is an excellent movie in pace and cinematography. The movie takes place on an Indian Reservation during the winter time. The movie does an incredible job of making you feel the frigid temperatures that are displayed throughout the film. The movie has a very basic plot of an investigation into a murder on the reservation. Jeremy Renner is a tracker who helps an FBI agent throughout the difficult terrain to find clues about the murder. The acting is top-notch and the pace of the film is never boring as it comes to its' climatic end. This movie taught me alot about how tough life is on a reservation with not much help from the outside when crimes occur. This film is a very realistic view as to how life is on an Indian reservation. I highly recommend this movie as it could slip through the cracks and be missed by many if you don't keep up with recent releases.
It's definitely on the list of the best movies from 2017.Great review @cs8197 even if is shorter, and for those who have not seen Wind River (2017) I recommend it.
