In the ghost world of teenage angst,
Enid and Rebecca find their place,
Rebelling against the established order,
Mocking teachers, classmates, and the culture border.

Graduating from high school, they seek a new path,
Choosing to work and live together, avoiding the college math.
Enid's pranks and Rebecca's seriousness clash,
But their friendship holds strong, despite the crash.

Enter Seymour, a lonely artist they befriend,
Enid sees in him a kindred spirit, a trend.
As their lives intertwine, the plot meanders,
Leaving viewers confused, as the narrative wanders.

Despite the slow pace and unconventional style,
The cast shines, making the film worthwhile.
Thora Birch's Enid is a standout performance,
While Steve Buscemi brings depth to Seymour's existence.

"Ghost World" may not connect with all audiences,
But for those who appreciate cult cinema influences,
It offers a glimpse into the strange world of teenage angst,
A reflection of the 90s American teens, at its best.
