In the roaring twenties of Chicago town,
Where fame and fortune easily could be found,
Two murderesses caught in a deadly game,
Roxie and Velma, seeking fortune and fame.

With song and dance, they tell their tales,
Of lies and deceit, and legal trails,
Billy Flynn, the slick lawyer, plays his part,
In a world where truth is a work of art.

The music and choreography, a sight to see,
Capturing the essence of the roaring twenties spree,
Despite its flaws, the film entertains,
A story of ambition and moral strains.

In a world where success is the ultimate goal,
Chicago tells a story that touches the soul,
A tale of desire and the price we pay,
For a moment of glory, come what may.
