31 Days of Horror: The Omen III: The Final Conflict

The Omen is easily in my top 5 favorite movies and it is what made me fall in love with Jerry Goldsmith’s work as a composer. The remake was unwatchable but I do like the sequels and the first in the series I saw was the third movie. I think the first time I saw this movie I was in middle school, not sure what grade, and started me on prophecy kick. Damien was originally terrifying to me because he seemed unbeatable but as I grew older I started to love the character. Sam Neill’s portrayal made him smart, sophisticated, and charismatic which would be perfect for the Antichrist.
