Donnie Brasco - One of my Favorite Mobster Movies (FULL VIDEO)
One of my biggest loves in life (outside of my two daughters) is my love of cinema. There are not many movies that these eyes have not seen that have come out since 1979. Among the many that I have seen, a few stand out in each genre that I'll get to in due time. My overall favorite?? Without a doubt, it's mobster/gangster movies.

Al Pacino has appeared in several of my all-time favorite gangster flicks, including the one I'm sharing with you all tonight. Donnie Brasco is also easily one of Johnny Depp's many good roles.
The movie is about an FBI agent named Joseph Pistone (Depp) who has infiltrated one of the major New York Mafia families and is living under the name Donnie Brasco. To get deeper undercover, he develops a relationship with mob hitman Benjamin "Lefty" Ruggiero (Pacino) but ends up developing a real friendship with the mafioso. As their relationship develops, Pistone must decide whether or not to complete his job, knowing that it will lead to the murder of his new friend.
