The Transporter

Respect the car.

I do usually like Jason Statham, his action scenes are done well and there is a lot of them. The plot isn't overly complicated and it is best not to examine it too closely. Simply accept that Jason is the good and will prevail in the end. This is slightly better than your run of the mill Hollywood action action film due to some of the supporting cast and directing done to bring it together.

Frank Martin (Jason) is our transporter, he will transport items from A to B for a price. He does however have a few rules, such as once the deal is made the deal doesn't change. Another one is that he doesn't open the package being transported, and of course no names are used.

Frank is good at what he does and obtains business by word of mouth. His latest job seems fairly straightforward until he hears noises from the boot of his car. So much for not looking in the package, he finds a woman bound and gagged.

Now he has a moral dilemma, finish the job or save the woman? The bad guys also make it a bit easier for him to decide when they try to kill him. So now it is time to save the woman, and deal with the bad guys.

I've seen some 'teaser" trailers about the transporter series. I'm tempted to watch one of the movies. If I can find one on netflix I might just do that.

There is one without Jason (one of the sequels), I forget which one, it isn't quite as good.
