Thrusday Movie Picks #1

in #movies7 years ago

Hey,
what's going on movie lovers, moviegoers, movie watchers you know who you are! So every Thursday we are going to have my top picks for movies. One good movie to watch and avoid in the theaters, top pick for new release on DVD, and one great oldie every week! (All movies I judge I have watched)

WHAT TO GO SEE:
There's a good amount of movies in the theaters right now that I like. But what I've seen is the Den of Thieves and let me tell you... some of those average actors that we love made that movie one hell of a ride to watch I love when cops are crooked it's one of the best movies to watch. Nothing to against you if you're a cop. I'm just saying I love these type of movies it shows the flaws in humans and how their emotions are driven by the consequences of their actions in the pressures of society and no matter whether they wear a badge or not...they all break. Check it out.
Rating: 7 out of a 10.

WHAT TO AVOID:
Do not go see Fifty Shades of Freed... this is going to be one of the worst movies of the year that you can spend 7 to $12 on in the theaters. I'm talking to you guys too because your girls going to convince you to go and it's going to be one of the shittiest movies you've ever seen.
Rating: 4.5 out of a 10 avoid at all cost.

NEW ON DVD:
New releases for the 23rd didn't bring much but, Thank for your service is available. This movie has some mixed reviews but I loved it and I am glad Miles Teller took the role. Great post war movie of our current generation of conflicts.
Rating: 7.2 out of a 10

ONE GREAT OLDIE:
This is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time I've watched it at least 10 times with Focus. Drum roll please... The Godfather is an outstanding movie with so many lessons to be learned and great representation of Italian culture. This movie No Doubt is a 9.5 out of a 10. This mob drama is brought to life by great actors like Al Pacino Marlon Brando and also great screenwriters like Mario Puzo. It's a hands down must watch in your lifetime. Now it came out in the mid 1974 but this movie is transcendent through time especially with the performances by Al Pacino.
