This is another best part of India Journey. The fascinating Taj just stole my heart. My dream is to travel all parts of the world . But Taj, it just awesome looking in architectural heritage !. Taj Mahal is New 7 wonders of the world (2000-2007) initiatve. I along with my friends pay a visit to this historical place . The entry fees was 500 rupees for subcontinent foreigner. 1500 rupees for other countries.18003200.JPG

Taj Mahal was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah jahan. He reigned from 1628- 1658. He built the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is assumed that construction was gone for 10 years to complete. It nearly costs for 32 million rupees 17511400.JPG

Lots of valuable stones are used to build it. Lots of money, passion, arts, minds are living here with dignity.
This architectural building touched my heart on to the next level. How beautiful could be the scenerio !

Taj Mahal is situated on the south bank of Yamuna river. It is said that river flows water was being flowed to the queen's bath and rest room as well. The design was outstandig to follow through. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri was originally the master mind of this set piece. we took some ourtstanding photos for the memory there.

We heard that in moonlit night the reflection of Taj Mahal falls on the water infront of it. And we were lucky enough to have a glimpse of it at the evening. we saw little bit of reflection of it.

the engineer of this structure had great story too. he was brave and wasn't affraid of the emperor. he enjoyed utmost independence to work for the Taj. and thus this monument was built and got history.

Yes you are absolutely right @layesmia bhai.
But I am just astonished how could be possible without proper education on that time to build such a giant building. Look at our science and engineers these days. A normal flyover or normal bridge don't support 20/30 years well but this are built from 500 years ago or more time . Isn't it give thrills ?

Nice Place to visit. I love personally Taj Mahal my favourite place.
