What's not to love?

Aaaah South Africa, sunny blue skies, rolling mountains as far as they eye can see, and now trails.... Oh yeah!

Today I started work on the first of what I am hoping will be one of, if not the coolest trail park in the country.

Longpools, a lodge located at Nyala Pans will be the starting point for this awesome family ride, you get the chance to see 3 of the Big5 lurking around the watering hole, warthogs are a regular sighting but what tops it off is when the family of 9 Giraffe make an appearance. Unfortunately today wasn't that day but things are beginning to take shape on the trail!

With summer still in full force here it has made things a little tough. The grass just seems to have a mind of its own.

I am hoping to finish the 3km and 5km Family trails within the next 2-3 weeks, then the fun can really begin when I am able to start on the Enduro trails.
